Thanks for this. I'll be doing this to my kids tomorrow so now I know exactly what I need to cut etc. Same exact fish finder and transducer and kayak.

That's awesome. So far it's been working well for me. It takes a lot of pedaling to just guess at the structure underneath me, so IMO it's a great tool. I have since routed the wiring too, but I think one of the Garmin wires was a weird size and I had to open up a grommet hole with a soldering iron.
