To all the viewers who had no Idea or little idea about the Festival! It is the Post Harvesting Festival of the Garo Tribe. It is a Thanksgiving ceremony done as a Sign of Gratitude and Appreciation to the Sun god Misi Saljong for the blessings (the good harvest)! It was believed and still believed that if we are not thankful to the blesser for the blessings, it is going to be a bad omen. We may not be having a good harvest next year or maybe we may have sickness or disease because of the god’s wrath! So it is basically a Thanksgiving ceremony done with songs and dance performed as a sign of gratitude for all the blessings! Hope this helps
