Oh yeah, if Carrot does not show up in any way in the manga anytime soon, then hopefully the Anime adaptation of the Ruler of Zou scene will give us something to go off of

If Carrot shows up in 1088, currently the most likely scenario will be in the Opening Color Spread that got hinted at in 1087. Another possibility is that the Garp cliffhanger ends up being an actual cliffhanger, where we either go back to Egghead, or we can even take a detour to Zou just to check up on Carrot’s situation. In either case, I am ready to finally rip off the bands aid until further hints drop. 1088 or Volume 108? We can only hope.

Of course, I'll keep watching your chapter reviews even after you stop talking about Carrot. Assuming chapter 1088 doesn't pan out for us. Oda has been making me question the likelihood of her joining, considering she hasn't had a single appearance this year. He's seemingly going out of his way to avoid bringing her back into the story. Still, I believe we will get something in the immediate future. Because it's not a question of 'if'. It's a question of 'when'. Oda will bring her back up. The mink race *are still* relevant to the story. If they weren't, then Oda wouldn't have bothered writing in this plot thread about the 'coming of a new dawn'. He wouldn't have given the mink such a grandiose dream if he didn't have *something* in mind. I'm normally extremely pessimistic, so my natural inclination is to expect disappointment. I'm going out of my way to not let the negativity win out, and so I hope it pays off in the end.

At some point it stops being fun and motivational and just purely sad and pointless. Like if you want to keep convincing yourself it will by all means but that’s a massive sunken cost fallacy. I believe 1088 was in correct. Carrot appeared in volume 80 went sulong in vol 88. It's the volumes not the chapter carrot returns in volume 108? Which coincidentally starts with 1088

1087 gives exposition on Carrot's theorized opponent and his abilities and powers. Now come on, Kana. I don't see how Carrot is gonna give work to a living Island without the Moon-Moon fruit (that fruit is out there somewhere, I'm dying on this hill)

I believe Kana uses TCB for his early scans. I use MangaFreak, myself. The latest chapter usually drops on Wednesday (At the earliest) or Thursday (At the latest).

Last gasp or your fading breath whatever it is at this point you hedged your bets and sold the farm for what exactly? 1088 is supposed to be this grand accumulation of almost 9 years and 200 chapters of what exactly? And you get either a cover story appearance or a nod/ mention? What will that accomplish? Will it change anything? But the point being you and everyone else proclaim it as FACT?! When the reality is far from the outcome you or anyone is ever going to get. Best hope short or of miracle this chapter is anywhere remotely close to what you and so many others hype this up to be.
