If they used real water, the water would probably get gross, moldy, or some other thing after a while. Oil like this has always been used instead for water speakers, because it does not do that. Plus it is a much thinner liquid and easier on the pumps.

For the water speakers, they use oil in them so it runs down to the bottom of the enclosure without sticking to the sides 👍

It'll be used for its low density too. It's a whole lot less dense than water and especially soda, hence why it struggled with the soda.

That White Van Speaker lasted waaaayyyyyyy longer than I expected! And it took so much power before finally quiting! They should just quit trying to scam people and sell those for $20 a piece for people to mess around with!

TBH some of the white van floorstanding towers sound just as good if not better than most entry level towers some sound bad but so do some name brand speakers that cost a lot. THE plastic cube systems sound awful though well 99% of even the name brand HTIB's sound just as bad.

Yeah I was surprised at the excursion on those heaps. If they put 10% more effort into the crossover and the box rigidity and 10% less into making them look faux-posh they probably wouldn't be that bad.

WOW-When you get a bin of speakers---UNFOLD THE FRYCORD and warm up the amp for some speaker pookin,spookin fun!!!Loved those unknown speakers wrapped in plastic-no contamination here!We learned an important lesson--you let the smoke out of a speaker or any other electrical-electronic device-It doesn't work anymore!That iPod thing-what is with that rotator thing-don't get that-first thought it was a woofer of some sort.Loved that cap getting launched off the board!That happened here at the transmitter-Pulse Step modulator module-launched a cap of that board-heard it in the control room thru a wall and two windows.When the module wass replaced-that little caps were blown completely off the board.The "water"or was it "baby oil" speakers did work weird with coke-HMMMM-use those as drink mixers?
