You have it set on jewelry. I just bought the same machine. Should I not use the coin mode?

I use Jewelry mode to expand the signals from only coins, in coin mode. I feel it gives you a better chance at finding more signals. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. If you scroll thru the settings, there is a bar on the display which identifies the signal range the detector will search for. Its located across the top of the screen, right below the definition numbers.
