Greetings, all; panel and chatters! Regarding humor, I remember Garrett Wang guest starring with Margaret Cho on "All-American Girl" around 1995. [Margaret tells her Mom she's not Barbie, then she sees the gorgeous guy she set her up with and she says: "Well, hello, Ken!"] :D Yes, Janeway and others rarely had a chance to show their comedic sides. But there were some good lines. Janeway says: "There's coffee in that nebula."- and "Time paradoxes give me a headache.", and she played the wicked-cool villainess Queen Arachnia, Bride of Chaotica in Paris' holodeck fantasy Captain Proton. This was a lot of fun to watch! I bet Garrett is an excellent host, no doubt about it, but I'd also like to point out that Ryan is too. I've often thought about how natural and flowing he makes the conversations seem and it must take some talent and skill to pull that off!

So wonderful to hear from the awesome Megan and Garrett - I’m so appreciative of the work they do on the Delta Flyers which really has been such a great distraction over the past couple of years. I had the pleasure to meet Garrett at DST and hope to meet Megan at some point. Very much looking forward to the VOYDOC away missions!

Till Garrett said it, I’d not thought about it- that there was less humor. DS9 had a larger cast, and the venue of Quarks, (the social scene) of the Station. There certainly was a comedic departure- priceless lines between Odo n Quark aplenty! I did/do enjoy Paris & Kim’s friendship and there were many fun episodes written around their adventures esp the B&W holodeck throwback (way back) shows. So, to me it was different, but not any less endearing. 💕

There were occasional comedic moments throughout, and the doctor maybe had the most comedic moments. Neelix is meant to be comic relief but some people don't like his character. And Tuvok is funny in a very dry way. Edit: Garrett does good impressions of the cast and he didn't get to do any on Voyager which is unfortunate.

We needed more humor than Tom tricking Harry into kissing a cow? The Doctor and Seven switching bodies, and doing poor imitations of each other? The Doctor fantasizing about the female senior staff constantly flirting with him? Neelix having wild sex with a Klingon girl half his age, and trashing Tuvok's quarters? Ahhh..no. We had enough humor in Voyager. Just my two cents.
