a straight pour but is it important to layering the paint in an specfic order. Opacity, transparency, metalic....? I'm sure than you will create another beautiful experience and i will love it. ❤❤❤

Now I know I commented on the last video saying how I wish I would have found you first. That is still true. I love how you experiment and teach us the difference. That's how I learned. I'm a very visual learner. These 2 paintings myself. I would put them together as a set on the wall. Even though they're so different, they still seem like they flow together for some reason. Probably because of the color. I mean, I'm not an artist. I've never been an artist. I've always been a math. You know everything has to make sense. But this is the greatest learning experience of my life. I'm 50 years old and I'm just now starting to wanna dab into my artist. Sighed and boy, I'm telling you, you are awesome. You're an awesome artist. You are just the whole package.I love you keep doing what you do

Hello Garrick. I hardly ever leave a comment on anybody's Channel but I have to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. You are so talented and knowledgable and an excellent teacher. I also really get a kick out of your sense of humor. You make me laugh and I look forward to your next one. You do inspire me to try to copy what you do. Never can, but you make me want to try. Oh man! They are both so cool. The thick paint one looks like a desert sunset reflected in a chrome dog bowl hubcap. Ibalmost like that better than the proper pour! A little airbrushing on the light blue top edge to darken it a bit would be the only thing I'd do to touch it up. Great color picks!❤❤

See when I was saying you're the best teacher. I just learned what my mistakes were because my paintings had been doing that. They've been cracking like that. Or you just see the canvas when it dries. You see the canvas like it's not shiny like your paintings. So I guess I'm learning all of this wbye. So again, thank you.

Hi Garrick, I have found in my teaching classes that with the premixed paints the metallics always have a problem with shredding. I believe that they put something else in the paints that in large amounts doesn't play well with the other paints. I am enjoying your experiments. Very fun to watch.

I think I need lessons in color theory. 😂 The vibrancy and lines in the thick paint pour are incredible and like that you had to leave some negative space on it. Very much a New Mexico vibe. Very informative. Love it when you guys do “comparisons” like this. I always struggle with the layering in terms of opacity, so all videos comparing layering options are appreciated. Thanks again!
@GarrickBrownArtStudio10 ай бұрын
Paige man this is a opacities is a loaded one because I've found you can break a lot of "rules" playing with these but every technique has its quirks when it comes to layering. I'll have to think on how i can present this info to you guys.
@paigecarroll736910 ай бұрын
I just get confused about the general rules in terms of interferences, metallics, iridescents, transparents and semi-transparents, and opaque in relation to where best to place in order for the colors to show through. My brain has a hard time with this for some reason.
