Ok, I just Found Sonic Jump (2012) on the Google Play Store, so now I can properly differentiate between the series' titles; Sonic Jump (2005) is Sonic Jump, Sonic Jump 2, Sonic Jump (2012) is Sonic Jump Pro (the title on the Play Store), Sonic Jump Fever.

Small mistake on my part, Sonic Battle released BEFORE Sonic Jump 2005. Ignore that bit. And here I thought I researched everything properly for this one 😖 EDIT: Some people are saying the volume is kind of low on this one, but i'm not sure it's the video's fault. I can hear it just fine even at lower volumes on my phone, and this thing has terrible speakers.

There is a bug in Jump Fever that when you get Red Rings via leveling up (I don't remember perfectly) once you collect it you can close the game entirely and collect the rings again and again, and again

Fun fact: There actually is a different version of Sonic Jump! An older one, in fact. And no, its not like sonic jump 2 with one repurposed song and a lack of story. Its name also goes by Sonic Jump, but its a slightly older version. All zones besides Bonus are in this version, and some of the zones look completely different to their other counterparts. It doesnt have any in-game background music besides the title screen and unique credits themes! And, it has different level design! It isnt lost to time, but its probsbly the most forgotten dumped Java game of the bunch.

I played the original Sonic Jump back when it was new and it was one of the few games well suited to a phone numpad. If I remember it right the "sequel" was just a a re-release of the exact same game but a number of bugs were fixed and it ran properly in a larger range of devices, they also corrected the blue eyes mistake in the title screen and got rid of the story for no apparent reason, my guess would be that they were planning to write a new story but didn't in the end, either that or it was the fact that Jump 2 got translated to multiple languages and they didn't feel like translating all the text.

It's not one person reviewing all these games, there are tons of different reviewers at IGN, and they don't go around checking scores for older games in the series when reviewing new ones. Also the review of Sonic Mania Garrelous 64 mentioned as a 7 wasn't of Sonic Mania. Sonic Mania got an 8.7, the review he was showing was just of the DLC, which was a pretty fair score since it didn't add much.

Btw collecting all Chaos Emeralds in the original Sonic Jump unlocks the real ending and while playing the game on real hardware back in the day I didn't experience any control issues so that most likely a emulator thing. In any case I can remember being so disappointed by the new Jump games as a 'fan' of the old game it just felt so generic and boring ESPECIALLY Fever. Though now my favorite Sonic mobile game is Runners easily I love Revival team for restoring the game. :)

Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom *was* greater, I played it for years... then when I got a facebook account and connected it... it wiped my progress, I quit for a couple of years until I tried it again and now they made it so even getting Knuckle/Amy (whichever one you didn’t choose) costs 180 red rings as opposed to the 30 red star rings it originally had, they raised the amount BUYING them got you and made it practically impossible to do it free. Damn you SEGA, ruining these games.

huh. Someone else who prefers Sonic Dash2 more than Sonic Dash 1. To all those players of Sonic Dash 2 out there: Which Sprites are apart of your team and what level are they? Personally I have Ion (increases how common enerbeam is) Lvl 6, I have a Lvl 11 Legs (increases dash duration) and my personal favourite, A Lvl 6 Volt (Increases enerbeam duration). I have an additional sprite called Serge (fill dash meter faster) Lvl 6 but I only use him for challenged I need my dash for.
