As crazy as these games are, there's a strange essence of "nostalgia" with them, with a hint of charm. They're horror, but not exactly. Something like a parody/comedy/horror fusion. They've got lore, connections, and deeper meanings, despite seeming cheap on the surface, have an interesting amount of depth to them, but still crazy wild and weird nonetheless. I also just realized that Stinger Flynn is actually putting us to sleep, and the "fever dreams" are actual dreams, since both nightmares and dreams can have crazy and/or scary things within them, consisting of the activities of the past, present, or future days.

Alright. Here me out on this and I can’t believe I’m deciphering a Garten of Banban Lore rn. Okay. That ‘Lucid Dream’ or ‘Fever Dream’ or a ‘Nightmare Fuel’ has some connection on what the Player is doing. Like Stinger Flynn wanting to go to he beach and not wanting to go back, cause a lot of things. Captain getting kidnapped, Nabnab getting run over and some weirdo driving his bus towards the waiting bench towards us. Think of it, The Parent wanted to get their kid back and as the quest go on, they kept digging and digging deeper into the rabbit hole until everything collapses and destroying everything in it, including the parents himself/herself. I mean if Player haven’t gone to the deeper in the daycare, none of the shenanigans happening right now wouldn’t happen. But what about the kid? What about the beach?

Although i love that they have embraced the fever dream as a depiction of the game, this chapter wasnt as good when we talk about gameplay. Puzzles were mostly too long or tedious, or repetitive even, with no rewarding feeling other than a relief that they are over. Also they tell you to stay in the light to be safe, but in all the stairways that were dark, there was no need to use the drone light. You would expect a naughty one to jump on you if you didnt use it, but nothing happens. They make sure you know the dark-light mechanic yet they dont implement it in all places where it could be implemented. Also that part where there are dark rooms downstairs and upstairs where there is literally nothing in them... A waste of time for the players because they check thinking there is something when there isnt. Thats a frustrating feeling, and you dont play games to feel like that. Im into the story, i watch gameplays and im surprised i put some things together and im curious to see how it goes, as we go deeper and deeper. In one of the games there is a note in which a worker says that a creature made to be like the children (for those who cant have them) should know more than one language to make things easier for them. Then, when the player gets the other audio disk that makes the big face appear in the aquarium entrance's void, the caption says "im sorry" but you hear "lo siento" which is the same in spanish. And here you pick the lights for the drone and die, only for a book of english-spanish to appear in its place, implying something, and also making me think that the reincarnation thing isnt just a choice of wording to make it a little bit different than other games, as you need to die to get the lights. Also we know that Bambaleena's donor is Mrs Mason, the teacher that is upset in our kid's notes through the games. Which is also very interesting. The real one seems to be a worried teacher, and Bambaleena is too, but she doesnt know how to be different than a psycho, lol. Im really invested into where this is going, but, you know, its still a game. You have to play it. In the end, it can have the best story in the world, but if the gameplay is not enjoyable, its not a good game.

As 8-BitRyan cautiously wandered through the dimly lit halls, he caught sight of the grotesque mascots that adorned the kindergarten - Opila Bird and BanBalina. These once-beloved characters were far more sinister than their playful exteriors suggested. Opila Bird, with wings outstretched, was a harbinger of doom.
