I like this. Most people who do Garth covers try to sound like him and fail and it sounds terrible. You just did your own thing and it sounds awesome.

What most people don’t know is that Garth’s version of Two of a Kind, Workin’ on a Full House is actually a cover Here’s some history I found out about Two of a Kind, Workin’ on a Full House: "Two Of A Kind (Workin’ On A Full House)" was a song that was written by Bobby Boyd, Warren Haynes and Dennis Robbins in 1987 and Robbins recorded it and released it the same year for MCA Records. His version didn’t become a big hit, it reached a peak of No. 71 on the country charts in 1987. And when Garth heard that song when he moved to Nashville, he gave Robbins a call and asked him if he could put the song on hold, however Robbins had already pitched the song to Shenandoah (who he had a No. 1 hit with the song “The Church On Cumberland Road.”) and Robbins didn’t know if Shenandoah was gonna record the song, so the next day, Robbins called up Marty Raybon (who was the lead singer of Shenandoah at the time) and he ask him if they were going to record the song. But Marty told Robbins that they were gonna pass it on for they made a promise to their producer that they would wait to see what their producer would say when it came to picking the songs to record and when Shenandoah’s producer heard the song, he said: "We’re not doing any Hank Williams sounding songs". And so Robbins got a call back from Garth later that day and Robbins put the song on hold for Garth and the rest is history.
