Keren nih interior nya. Economy class nya yg bagian middle seat cm 3kursi. Lebih nyaman ketimbang yg 4 kursi di tengah. Pengen punya mimpi ajakin bapak-ibu terbang jauh ke Europe pake First Class nya biar mereka nggak sakit2 ato pegel2 badan (biar nyaman buat mereka). Ngeliat susunan economy class nya udah cukup terlihat nyaman buat penerbangan jauh utk saya dan adek.

Agree. In fact Garuda nailed it again at Skytrax Awards 2013 in Paris. GA is now the World's Best Economy Class and 8th World's Best Airline. People might have their own preference, no problem. I can't compare with Dragonair (never heard of it before), but I'm usually flying with major airlines, such as SQ, QR, EK, CX, MH and GA (both domestic and international). To me, SQ still tops but GA is now getting better consistently, no doubt. Great job, GA! :)

It's announced that Garuda Indonesia has won Skytrax's 'World’s Best Economy Class 2013' surpassing Singapore Airlines and Asiana Airlines, and is now the 8th best Airline of 2013. Announced in Paris Air Show 2013. Please note that this is still in the middle of the Quantum Leap program due to finish in 2015. Garuda will be a 5 star airline by then.

Currently, yes but who knows how's Garuda in the next 3 or 5 years? Having the first class on their newest aircraft and reopening the route to London-Gatwick at the same year is a big achievement for Garuda Indonesia. Even in terms of service, Garuda Indonesia got a very positive and satisfying respond from its passenger reviews on Garuda Indonesia's forum on Skytrax. Anyway, you forgot to put Thai Airways with Suvarnabhumi Airport as one of the best in ASEAN even in the world on your list.

It won't be long before Garuda can rank amongst the top 10 in the world. After my first trial last year in their executive class, I felt in love with them immediately! SQ is very good no doubt, although their ticket price can be steep. With the very attractive ticket price of GA, I am giving all my business to them for my future Indonesia and Australia flights.

seriously, it really depends on the route. I am a frequent flyer and been flying with different airlines, incl. SQ and GA. for those, who wants to travel to Indonesia, GA wins hands down over SQ because their excellent immigration service on board. It is even offered to Y passengers, too!! I can't see any huge different on AVOD and seat features, etc. Both FAs are excellent, friendly, speak very good English, too. No biggie! F&B, it's very subjective. I say, its a draw. both are excellent! :)
