way to reward mediocrity, and ruin a wall by covering some obviously better pieces with some freshman basics.

Aroe and Gary, both in MSK. Yeah definitely 'freshman'. It's clear you have NO, idea at all, in any way, about graffiti.
@siobhanmccorry79649 жыл бұрын
KillZilleR and youre big upping a rat that shows his face on camera. its obvious you are a hipster fucktwat with no clue as to the real nature of the graff lifestyle as concieved and birthed in new york.
@siobhanmccorry79649 жыл бұрын
KillZilleR who defines the nature of graffiti? the most people doing it, or what it is in and of itself? "living in the past" is the same excuse every generation of highjackers says to the people standing bewildered at how it suddenly became a million dollar game for whiny ass suburban kids with 1. mommies credit card, or 2. a "sponsorship" w/e the fuck thats supposed to mean. sorry but im not going for the "any change is good change" !! racking and the illegal nature of graffiti is all part of the antinomian culture it sprung up out of and to change that changes the nature of graffiti and just turns it into "art" in graffiti style. dudes can buy paint and do all types of asshole stuff, legal walls, sucking paint companies off, the whole package. just dont call yourself a graffiti writer cause youre not living graffiti. thats not a graff writer, its an artist sucking grafffs dick i wouldnt care if the statue of liberty came and told me she loves the graff so crazy she swam over to suck your dick. i dont care what legends that fell apart and now condone fuckboy shit have to say about whats okay and whats not. ( and i want to be totally CLEAR on that, nyc royalty, legend this legend that, king of this and that, any one of them not living true to the graff they became legends of in the first place: FUCK EM!) the question is when the fuck did it become okay? when a flood of people who had no right to it came and jacked yet one more living tradition to turn it into a dead novelty, something for dumb cunts in townhouses to look at in overpriced coffeetable books and wonder at the ingenuity of the ghetto. its sad, the state graff has come to. the worst part? we dont get shit but charges if the piggyteam outruns us but the artists that get sponsored and paint legal walls, do dickeater interviews with their face showing make money off some shit theyre not even really living. a direct mirror to the music side of hiphop, a real mc cant get a record deal to save the fucking universe, bUt every faker and theIR grandmother gets rich off it.... in a way its a "insult to art" as the art fucks would say, to be turning out our lil thing we had going into something for sarah palin to rub her pussy with. THE END.

siobhan mccorry Well said, I appreciate your mature response! That made a lot of sense to me, I guess I'll never get to be a true graffiti writer in the sense you stated and I suppose I'll just have to deal with that. I buy my own paint from a graff store, and I do paint as much as I can, but I'm not from the ghetto, I'm not rich either, I've got a job and go to uni and paint whenever I'm free between that. So yeah I am most likely what you despise haha sorry about that. It's not like I intend to offend, it's something I've picked up like most writers seeing it around then trying for myself. It's something I do. Is it wrong to be a writer like that, I don't do it to show off or brag, most the people I know outside graff don't know I paint. I just like doing it, simple as, it gives me pleasure to drop a tag on a phone box and see it when I go past on the bus, I like seeing the corner of a rushed throwie on a roof that I thought would be sick until I get down and realise You can't even see what I painted. I just like that shit. Is that wrong in your eyes? serious question I can see you actually know how to respond and articulate properly haha. I don't like street art myself and hate the appreciation it's gained for doing very little in comparison to graffiti. So that I'm 100% with you on..

KillZilleR i thought i smelled some sarcasm at the beginning lolz.. atleast you are intelligent enough to get what i said. usually when i hit that speech i get the new-age-clasic "hey everyone has a RIGHT to appropriate your shit, sharing is caring
