There are no two ways about it, this move was a political one without a doubt. The BBC Director General a certain Mr Tim Davie (former Conservative MP, and donor) has waited for to throw his toys out of the pram, since Lineker was suspended during the 23/24 season. Davie is obviously one of those type who likes to show everyone who is boss, probably beats his chest to try and prove what a real man he is, but he's not. He's actually a control freak and a bully and therefore most likely a coward as well. More likely than not he will have got someone else to have done his dirty work for him. Basically Davie just wants a tool, a yes man who says yes sir; no sir and three bags full Sir. Jermaine Jenas has been charged with the job of replacing Lineker, I don't really have any problems with JJ personally but I don't really know if Alan Shearer gets on with him that well. I can envisage Shearer being the next to go.

Why do we want anybody to discuss football matches, surely most people who watch MOTD or any other football matches can see the what’s, ifs or buts and do not want so called genius pundits pointing these out. Just play the football matches BBC. You will save money and you might be surprised when the watching figures rise The likes of Lineker, Shearer, Janus, Keane, Souness, Neville etc etc may have been good football players and while some of them have tried management and failed most would sooner be a pundit and get paid an enormous amount of money by the BBC saying things that the viewers know only too well. BBC just show the games
