Everyone lining up after the show could be politeness, an societal tradition of appreciation that you would take the time to come to them and share your art. Don’t know being from “loud USA”

I thought America. I love the weedgie accent though. It’s easier to understand after a few drinks though. Tour this side of the pond. I would be happy to be your interpreter.

I think it depends how much exposure people have had to different accents because not all Scottish accents are created the same either, all languages have different accents and dialects all around the world. I was talking to my little cousin the other day and while he had heard 'British' (RP) accents in movies and TV before, he had hot heard not Irish or Scottish ones as much so I played some Kevin Bridges clips, some of yours, some of the frost bite boy (which was me trolling him a bit). He had no idea what was said by anyone.

It might not have been your accent at all (I am from Singapore and perfectly understand every word you say).... there is also the consideration of the Swedish audience not getting the jokes due to the context, or they simply do not LOL as you have said.
