Gary was always pure emotion allied to technical genius. Will there ever be another guitarist who plays with such feeling? I very much doubt it. His music will be with me forever. Saw him live numerous times. RIP Gary much missed.

Gary wrote this song for a Japanese singer, Minako Honda (1967-2005). The Japanese version is called "The Cross" and was released as a single in September 1986. It was one of Minako's hit songs and it reached No.5 of the Japanese single chart. Gary Moore played the guitar of the Japanese version as well. The arrangement of the song is slightly different.

I am so sad that Gary is gone. He was a legend with talent that the gods must seriously have wanted such that they were prepared to deprive us of his talents so early in his life.
