Gary wasn't just a great guitarist, he was exceptional

Gary was sensational, I heard him play in 1970 with Skid Row, and from that moment I was just GONE!! He was just 18, I was just 18.

Stop the nonsense of who’s the best! Whoever is the “best” for you is The Best for you! And since each one of us has our own mind and opinion as to who the best is, it is a question with no answer, or significance. Enjoy them all! 👍🏼🕊️🤬🎸

Here he plays a Gibson Les Paul guitar made in 1959 and purchased in 1970 from Fleetwood Mac guitarist Peter Green. The guitar is known for its unique out-of-phase tone, which is the result of a reversed magnet in the neck pickup (this guitar is currently played by none other than Kirk Hammett from Metallica).
