Enjoy Gary in tape for now. Imagine if we can see Gary live. Same here but too little too late. I Found out about Gary just prior to him died right around 2010. Just shocking to find out he died a few months late 2011. At the time prior to his death, I was dying to be see him live but it was too late because of the unexpected death later.

That was a great lineup. And from interviews it seems that Gary Husband wanted to continue. No idea why Gary didn't follow this direction and move more into progressive rock, it was definitely possible with Gary Husband. Instead after "Dark Days in Paradise" Gary Moore recorded a poor "Different Beat", and after that nothing noteworthy happened. I suspect in the late 90s all the addictions started to make an influence, only a few years later Gary Moore started to look quite bad... I also think all the Marshalls never sounded like the Soldanos he used in late 80s and early 90s. That was the sound he found after many years of trying different things, no idea why he has abandoned it. People say that Soldano sound is one-dimensional, but I don't agree, it really depends on the player. Soldano simply has the best sound for mid-to-high saturated melodic guitar solos.
One Fine Day is so psychodelically good. I would have been nice with a whole psychodelic album.

An ES335 in his hands was a captial offense - too much power. Not even he with his powerful voice could come through on top. Let alone the rest of the band. I have to say harmonically and song structurewise this was the best time of Gary Moore (Dark Days In Paradise). Such beautiful songs. I remember I have copied the CD onto a tape (back in the days) and listened to it over and over again being so well entertained. The album version of course benefits from a lot of Synth layers which some of these tracks really need.
