I saw this years ago and have to revisit it regularly. It reminds me that Gary Moore was on fire with this great blues number. It also has me feeling sorry for whoever followed him on that night! Awesome guitarist and always missed.

Clapton backed out of the event when he found out Gary was going to play it...he knew he wouldn't hold a candle to the King of guitar. This man absolutely mastered the instrument, a true legend that no one else could touch. Simply incredible.

Fast blistering blues, soulful wah licks, backed off volume sweetness...and everything in between. I've heard people call Gary a one trick pony with no soul. He shows it all here, there's no denying his brilliance.

I saw him do that very thing with that very guitar at Bishopstock years ago, he played a blistering set using only his Strat....it was unmatchable and I suppose, robbed us of a Johnny Winter performance afterwards but Gary was easily enough on his own.
