Thank you for my request. I was at this Fender event in London, and he blew everyone else off the stage. There was a final encore of all the Fender players including David Gilmour,Hank Marvin and Joe Walsh. They had to turn Gary down in the mix as he was shredding at any opportunity lol

Thanx for this great review - it was a pleasure to hear Gary again. He was one of a kind, an absolutely unique guitarist. I saw him on a tour back when he was still playing hard rock and his energy and his showmanship hasn't changed a bit as I could see. Thanx again for not interrupting the solo - I was watching in awe and - like you - forgot about the time... it flew. I hope you don't get blocked. The score was deserved. R.I.P. Gary Moore < one of the best ever.

Gary was 100%. Sometimes 100% shred, sometimes 100% blues, sometimes quiet and considered, but always he was running at 100%.

Gary was such an incredible guitar player who just got better with age unlike so many others (ie clapton) His last album "Bad for you baby" is his best work

Gary definitely belongs on any greatest guitarist list. Even as a vocalist he kills. On the Wild Frontier CD his guitar playing shines but on the track Johnny Boy his voice will choke you up. IMHO the most expressive guitar slinger there ever was. Parissiene Walkways many players try to do it but fall short. Covered Rory Gallaher's The Messiah will Come Again and is one of the most complete how to play a guitar songs you can hear. Full raging volume to soft small notes all in one track. God I feel you on the sleeping pill of12 bar blues

Gary Moore was an incredible guitarist (and a pretty damn good singer) who, even though he was successful, I feel is still generally underappreciated. Excellent pick, and a great reaction.

You were at this time new to Gary Moore! I am sure you know by now that he played metal and hard rock as well or better than anyone ever has or will!

I've never really seen another guitarist utilise their middle finger so dominantly, he uses it as if it's a ring finger. That's got to give him such a fretboard span from any given position.

Gary Moore was on the same level as Clapton, bb king stevie ray vaughan, he was brilliant as well as a rock guitarist.

Gary was better than Clapton a toss up between between him and Stevie, equal or better than all the Kings. He was an incredible musician, one of the best that ever lived. He was a wild Irishman 😜

Great job on this Hendrix song. I have a question though. WHO IS THAT BASS PLAYER? I've seen him play with John Mayer, everyone at Clapton's guitar festival, The Who... and probably a bunch of other people. Who the heck is that guy??

Looks like a nobody, plays like a god! It's a criminal shame almost nobody knows who you're talking about when you mention the name, Gary Moore! "Wasn't he the host of really old TV show?"...yeah...There's twice as much talent out there than anyone imagines! The rest is marketing. I'd bet the top tier of talent never sees the light of day. Extreme talent tends to be accompanied by irrepressible eccentricity, a definite marketing risk. Good score, Dave!
