Gary Oldman is the Best. Jonsies interviews aren't the deepest, but it's a real conversation, how real average people talk, and how they would be talking on set.

Emil Hamady I agree it was one of his best roles... it's a cult classic and actually is a great movie...inspired, ironic, funny, sad- tragic and poetic... I can't imagine why he would not be proud of it...(his stuff the past several years is pretty forgettable and banal...Sid, Oswald, Dracula, Beethoven and several others he's done great work..Sid and Nancy has aged quite well and is much better than most people seem to realize in my opinion. Why not mention it even? Since Jonesy was a Sex Pistol

Fernando Ramoa I don't know what the hell you are talking about. Who's talking about "overrated" actors? I said Oldman was never underrated. He was always considered to be a great actor. So he is definitely NOT underrated. And the other guy I mentioned is a boring jerk, not worth any rating.

Steve Jones is one of my heroes, but he's not exactly very bright due to a learning disability, which is no fault of his own. Oldman is such a brilliant actor that he's almost beyond human. Here he's showing the utmost patience dealing with Jones' limitations like a true pro. What a gentleman.
@lotharroberts59788 жыл бұрын
+NightWolf No. Steve Jones admits he was born with learning difficulties. He admits he can't read for example. That's why his vocabulary is so limited. Does that sound "Bright" to you? Maybe so, as you're probably not so bright yourself, and your moniker is 'NightWolf'. The NightWolf of his mom's basement.
@LetsGoMetsGo338 жыл бұрын
Jones is smart on a basic level. He's not well read or conventionally educated. Neither is Ozzy, who also is smart in his way. Difference between intelligence and education. School doesn't make you smarter (it doesn't affect the potential of your brain, just helps you use it in a particular way). There's nothing lacking in Jones when you listen to his conversations.
@kenmills307 жыл бұрын
Lothar Roberts Steve Jones might not be academic or educated but that's only a 'disability' in relation to conventional education. Steve Jones has a natural intelligence and intuition, what's that thing it says in the bible about the wisdom of a learned man being no match for seeing things with the eyes of a child or something along those lines.In the real sense of 'bright' Jones is a shining diamond. Problem with most people they just listen to the structure of words rather than what's being said or not said.
@Decimator-jh4gu7 жыл бұрын
Cheetah Thunders. Well said.
@iggypopisgod97 жыл бұрын
Lothar Roberts Steve Jones is an old school London scrapper. He's not a pretentious, academic scholar type. He's from the streets. He's real. And he's a legend. He was "bright" enough to figure out the guitar, which is a mysterious language all its own. Many brilliant people have failed at attempting to play instruments
