Unbearably sweet. Who knew, Gary's inspiration was Malcolm? But it is very fitting when you think of it. Two legends, right here, and icons I have admired since I was a kid.

My word, I have never seen something so sweet in my whole life. Gary Oldman said it perfectly and I never would have guessed Malcolm could inspire him to become an actor. All the more reason to adore him, and he fully deserves his star. :)

Oldman is a little over hyped, but MacDowell was truly the best Brit actor of his generation.

Yes, a little over-hyped perhaps, but he was genuinely emotional & in doing so, honoring a great actor who often would take enormous risks in playing difficult, challenging, controversial roles that no other actor would dare touch. This alone, Gary Oldman's tribute would have made an otherwise uneventful moment, a far more memorable experience for Malcolm.

FP No offense, but as much praise as I've seen Oldman get (I've heard it since the late 80's) I've still yet to hear him get "the best" praise yet. He does , deservedly so imo, get a lot of credit for being the best actor who gets lost in his characters to damn near unrecognizable effect. But "The best" far from it mate.
