I think the fact that the remaining three marauders looked older than 30 ish was very appropriate. Lupin as a werewolf would’ve aged, Sirius aged because of the stress of Azkaban and Peter was a fucking rat for 12 years so

he’s so deeply into his roles that sometimes while being interviewed it’s hard to get out of it. For example he was interviewed while filming True romance and he was a completely different person with a different voice and his accent changed constantly like he was trying to get out. It’s insane i love him.

One thing I have noticed is that when actors are being interviewed around the same time they are filming they tend to stay in character. Usually they just came from filming a scene or they are about to, so they are doing character work in their head to prepare. Also, sometimes it's hard to snap back into character, so when they have a scene that they just filmed, then they have to interview then go back to filming, they will just keep the character going so they won't lose it.

Gary Oldman is right up there with Brando, Dean, De Niro, Pacino, Bale, Depp, Ledger and many others who simply immerse themselves into the imaginary world in which the character exist in so they can bring him to life in such a way that you beleive they they are that person.
