I saw Gary at the melody ranch in Waco TX. What a awesome show, sadly he passed away I think a week or two. What a high energy performance. Rest in peace my friend.

The interviewer and the crowd are atrociously jarring. An artist like Gary Stewart, who's amongst the G.O.A.T.'s of Country music earned his place to get some respect. It's very unfortunate that he's no longer here. R.I.P. to the legendary icon Gary Stewart.

I never understood Ralph Emery and how he attained the "status" he did. The guy was clueless and hopelessly out of touch.

It's GREAT to hear Gary in front of that Nashville Now band. They were awesome. That's the only reason I ever watched the show. Ralph Emory was the worst host in the history of television.

Seriously, "what is a jukebox?"... "Number one single....I'm acting single...she's uh..." It's the same with all of his guests, waylon, tompall, mickey newbury etc... some of the greatest artists in that scene. You always got the sense that Ralph did not recognize/appreciate/respect the creative talent he was in front of.

If I'm not mistaken, both of these legends[Gary Stewart and Faron Young] committed suicide..eerie, sad yet a reminder of how even the best come to an end. 2 OF THE VERY BEST , GOD BLESS EM

Drugstore Truck Drivin' Man expressed Gram Parson's disgust for Ralph Emory. Emory was married to Skeeter Davis and used to beat her up. He's a coward and a piece of sh^t!
