Amazing Bud Isaacs, Buddy Emmons and Jimmy Day began a "fan grabber" with the pedal steel guitars. Buddy and Jimmy created sounds the world had NEVER heard since creation; that is still evolving all over the world. That set the stage for a musical extravaganza that words can't describe. Sadly, both of Buddy and Jimmy have passed on; as well as many other "greats". But praise Jesus we have today; the Gary Carters (one of THE greatest today) Mike Johnson's, David Hartley's, Doug Beaumier's and others that are coming on the stage. Bless there hearts and may Jesus continually bless them with "talents" from Heaven. May Jesus also rest the souls of Bud Isaacs, Buddy Emmons, Jimmy Day; and countless other "greats" that have passed on. I loved them all. And I always will.

This is the video I would show a non player what a Pedal Steel Guitar can do. The mandolin player, drummer and guitar player are fantastic, yet the PSG shines in the melody. Also the way this video was filmed, showing Gary's pedals,...It does not get any better than this. Going to sleep now...with this melody in my head....very good feeling. Thanks Gary for this. RC

That is awesome! When you play the steel guitar in another country you are really spreading the gospel! Good for you dude,it takes a special talent and dedication to play this incredible instrument. But man I ask you,is there a more heavenly sound on earth?? No sir.Play away sir,and may the wind be at your back......................and let me suggest a film "Schulze Gets The Blues" - you will totally understand.

Jamesnyc79 Thank for your sugestion Sir James!i have much to learn about pedal steel and all history envolved with this magnificent instrument, the spirituality envolved in to play steel guitar,to difuse the gospel, and i agree about all you said!in Brazil is to much difficult to find a steel guitar in good conditions to study. God bless!
