I live on Vashon island off seattle, beautiful place to visit. I’d be interested in one of these if delivery a real possibility to Seattle area. You want a Pacific Northwest vacation Vashon Island the place to go. Maybe others in Seattle want one also. You’d be proud to know the only takil on the whole island are yours at my place 😉 and I have the only jubaea. I need another what’s the price on the big one?

Nice trees! I know there is one in the ground on Saltspring Island north of Victoria, BC that is a bit bigger than these. What's the delivery charge to Seattle?

Good question! I actually did put one like that in a box and send it to Kirkland once. Came through fine. Probably a few hundred dollars including the postage.

These should be in 24" boxes. Can they grow well in partial shade like a Trachycarpus?

Yes. They get a bit more stretchy as they reach for the light but it makes them look more tropical. And yes, I'm putting a bunch in 24" boxes.

I want one of these palms so bad but they're practically never available grown on the internet, are near impossible to grow from seed, and then if you do they take an eternity to grow. Which probably wouldn't bode well in MA because every true palm I've had is highly vulnerable to leaf burn. To see a truckload of them in 15 gallon size on camera is a rare sight

I do it’s whether I have a good one in a 15 gallon or not because that’s the biggest one. I think you can throw in a box and it’s a very expensive box, Believe you me.

They grow fantastic from San Diego all the way to British Columbia. Arguably one of the most adapted palms to west coast conditions.
