Bought an Inkersi range finder 5 months ago because of your videos, charged it the first day I got it and its still on full battery, paid just under £40 for it and its been faultless, cant go wrong for the money

Great to see these budget lasers doing so well, they could be a way of lowering that initial outlay for a new golfer.

Honestly, I’ve sold my Bushnell! Got offered £200, so I’ve just got the inkersi on the bag. Does the job for me.

Used a range finder for first time last week, club comp away, course didn't have GPS as was redesigned. After initially finding it fidgety to get on to, I found it very useful for managing our way round a new course. Would be interested in maybe a more middle of the road one. Something a bit more quality like you said in vlog. The one I used was shotscope.

What sort of price point are you thinking? 100-200? I’ve never tried shot scope to be fair, I’ll have a look at their prices.

I once had a ball mark tool that had range finding lines on it and even that was illegal at the time. Golf is so much easier theses days.

Why didnt you check the yardage on his gps watch to compare?
@AnotherLostBall5 ай бұрын
Agreed. The tech in the lasers is pretty simple so the distances should be similar. The differences between the various lasers will come down to build-quality, lenses, etc. I’d be more interested to know how various GPS gadgets (phone apps, watches) compare to a laser for yardage (bearing in mind the gps apps and watches generally give distances to front/middle/back of the Green rather than the distance to the flag)

@@AnotherLostBall the are not the same when measuring to a pin or specific point. Gps is not designed for that on the course

I just use 18 birdies. It’s free, it’s on my phone that’s already in my pocket so I don’t have to carry around something else to lose. It also allows me to completely plot out my round prior to playing, it records my shots, my distance and my score. I literally have zero idea why anyone in 2024 would carry around a range finder.

RedTiger for $70 is the sweet spot. Under $100... slope/distance/speed... usb-c... super strong magnet... weatherproof... and proper build quality... For $40, the first time that cheap plastic breaks, you would have saved money on the quality one... You said yourself that the clip broke the first time out... cmon now...
