Most interesting. I own the a99 with a lot of the very best minolta and zeiss a mount lenses. But I want to upgrade either to the a99ii or the a7r iv (or v) with the LA EA 5 adapter. Most of my photos are concert (low Light, static subjects, classical musi and harmony big band).

What is your trigger priority settings? Focus priority or shutter priority?

Body compatibility for screw drive function wasn't covered. It only works on some recent bodies.

What body were you using? My understanding was that this adapter works best for A7R4 and the A6600 and above. Those bodies alone have drastic computing power that assist in autofocus. Still not as fast when using native E mount, but they claim you are using it best with those bodies.

I bet you can’t get more decent actions shots on an A-mount camera with that lens. Only the final generation SSM or SAM lenses can benefit.

That LA-EA5 works very well on Sony 500/4.0. I just hate that lousy depth-of-field looks like many beginners & amateurs like shooting. Where can I get a 300/2.8, 400/2.8, 500/4.0 or 600/4.0 with great depth of field at wide open?
