Well done Gary. I am really enjoying this XPD2 platform. Just updated to V.07 and will be giving it a go this am. I will try it out in the Park Mode. Have an abandonded park I go to that is still yielding good old & silver coins and relics.

Looking forward to going out this afternoon with the Deus2..I’ve not updated yet as I would like to make my own decision as to if it’s altered in depth with update.. got a good worked out site that I’ve cleaned well over the last few years..but still gives very deep targets every now and then..coming from the Nox I don’t expect it will be an easy learning curve but looking forward to the challenge. @@The-skillschool. Thanks Gary went out and stuck with the General program..ended up reactivity at 1.5. Iron vol at 4..and that was it. Kept it simple.What a machine so quiet..but deep..kept well away from mates with the Noxes..kept swapping into the Relic program as a reference..got to be honest I didn’t expect to do that well but went home with 8 coins a couple of buttons and some weird atifacts a few bits of lead. Only dug one piece of iron..we were only on the site for 2 hours..might do that update after a few more outings..But can’t complain about that depth.. Regards Jim

Id love to see you do a video on hunting very trashy areas. Trashed out farm fields etc. I've been learning to how hit real close to cellars here in the US. Definitely some re-learning to do on the 2. But the good stuff is always close to the house. Love to know if you have any tips. Love your vids! Happy Hunting!

These lead rolls are often identified as sinkers for fishing nets. The "victorian silver coin" thing is a terret for a horse carriage. The coin depth may be different because of the particular huge size of your coins - here in Germany the old small value coins are much smaller therefor harder to detect if deeper in ground.

I am with Brillero, If I sweep a target that has a low ID number, and there are targets close by, all of them have the same ID number. When I wait for the ID number to disappear, I find out that the other targets were high Id numbers that I would not dig if I looked at the delayed Id number.

those little lead bits are worth looking at ive found a few that are 8ct gold fillings some are compleat teeth but some are big fillings,9ct acid is the way to test them.theres more of them than you think especially on the beach

Trying 0.7 on my favourite beach - disaster! Ground balance and pinpointing huge issue! Then I downloaded 0.6 - very big difference and on the exactly same place two gold rings ! Yesterday getting ready for weekend trying to charge my remote - nothing on screen , Trying to switch it on - no results - remote dead ! Have no idea what problem is - it should be some kind of hard reset ? 🤔

Gary, I have an XP Deus 11 and previous owner of the Deus 1. I use a 3 tone program with a discrimination of 7.0. My question is if you lower the discrimination to 0, this would do away with the iron tone and all iron would come in a tone 2 as good targets audio. Basically it would be an all metal program at that time. What is the purpose of lowering the discrim to 0? Do you gain any more depth? I like to hear the iron grunts as well as med/high tones.

at minute 8.38 you can see the big mistake made by xp with this update 0.7 ... the delay of the TDI ... serious mistake cannot keep up with the reactivity of the deus 2 ... in the trash the tone is a thousand years light forward to the TDI .. this is the reason why I will not update to version 0.7 ... how many errors from xp, perhaps too many for a MD that costs 1600€....they have improved a lot of things, but they cannot delay the TDI on such a fast MD ... what do you think Gary?
