I'm so glad they stopped making content with Discovery. Discovery have ruined just about everything they touch with sensationalism and downright fake crap. Richard and his guys are stars in their own right and make a brilliant show.

Richard, I've been a fan of yours for a long time. And it's been great to see you not only grow Gas Monkey into the outstanding business, it is. But, let me tell you, one of the smartest decisions you've ever made, was hiring Josh!! Not only is he a talented mechanic, fabricator. His skills in front of the camera, is what I enjoy the most. To see a young man that is humble, polite, funny, and truly passionate about what he does for your business, is great to see. Best hire you've made in a long time. And just so that Mike McCoy doesn't get his feelers hurt, I've got to give props when due. Great painter, funny guy, and an indispensable guy for you.

Mike the Painting God. As a fellow painter i love listening to Mike, hes been in the game a lot longer than me. His knowledge is priceless and his sense of humour seals the deal. One thing about GMG and Richard, he consistently builds the Best custom vehicles. Id say Kindig It Designs are the only other shop/builder that tickle my pickle 😂. Greetings from England 🇬🇧

All my Landcruiser FJ40 projects were painted with Imron for the body, and thinned down Spatz underground cylinder paint for the frame. A pro hockey player bought one of them and 35 years later still has that thing all the way up in Alaska. It’s all in the prep and quality of paint. Imron is like a ballistic shell, lol. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

I think it was the head marketing guy talking while the actual Head mechanic was smirking behind. Just like when my boss starts trying to talk about how easy a job is and actually being the guy who does the actual work and knows just how wrong he is, it gets pretty funny and you can only laugh about it.

We used to paint all the cars trucks with Imron paint! It was higher than other acrylic enamels and smelled totally different and my dad said was way harder on his lungs after, but is darn good paint!

Showing off a build at the local community centre or bingo hall is cool n all but this is SEMA. Pros who think they have seen everything every which way. Up down inside out and backwards. Give them something to make em sit up and gawk.
