The method I use not to dismantle the whole assembly, you might have done that for the people to observe easily. Secondly if you wipe the gas controlling knob assembly & fix it as it is then it would become harder & that unit wears out early. Solution is apply light grease or vaseline but not the 2 holes that pass gas in a controlled way.

Great effort,, thanks,,,,,, , i suggest a easy and safely method,,, Take a chinese cycle pump attach by pressing inlet pipe of gas stove ,,, open the knobs(Sim and Open mode) one by one when u pumping.... Normally solved .... Be cooollll.....
