That kobalt weights more than my biggest stihl it’s no competition yet maybe in years to come when batteries get better (the 80v does anyway) but I love the 40v chainsaw.

Does it seem to have as much power as your gas one did? This doesn't seem like a fair test to me, considering how much shorter the grass looks for the electric trial. The sound reduction seems nice.

This is not really a gas apples vs electric apples comparison. Curved shaft trimmers have always been low performers.
