The SmartCarb's choke system uses a dual air bleed for high cold start RPMs - it helps the bike to warm up while enriching it. That's normal. We recommend 1-2 hours of riding time on the carb near the baseline settings to break it in. There are tight tolerances in the SC2 that settle in after some riding time. Baseline settings are typically a bit rich. Most customers go 5-15 clicks leaner as needed to clean/crisp up the low speed (idle and off-idle). Break it in first and then do your fine tuning. Lastly, we don't recommend assessing performance on the stand or in neutral. The SmartCarb operates by sensing engine demand under load, in gear, while riding. Please assess throttle response while riding the bike 👍
