Not for 2022 so far, hopefully that changes for 2023 or all you’ll have is used 690s and 701s

In Oz all 3 brands are are nearly 20k! Just way too much for essentially a dirt bike! If you see the forums and FB pages there are heaps of broken dashes and other gremlins. And after all these years ktm still hasn't sorted the false neutrals that can happen in any gear! If they weren't so overpriced and more reliable they would sell plenty of them!

ktm was never reliable. It is just the way they are. Shame there is no supermoto from Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki

@@fleshpie2129 I have over 50,000 miles between my KTM and Husqvarna. Except for wear items, I’ve only had one problem. The clutch basket nut came loose on my Husqvarna. The tabbed washer that’s supposed to be behind the nut, was not there. I’ve had more problems with Hondas. And, I am not kind to my motorcycles. It’s WFO all the time. I’ve found them very reliable. Especially for the performance that they give.

Was very hesitant on selling my minty XR650R very hard finding an equal big bore replacement but got the new 701 SM and is it ever an awesome bike. Very cool having 74 reliable hp with an e-start!.

Currently working on such a nightmare... it came with a CRF450 front end, currently changing it back to standard...I can't even start the thing,due to my short legs...got to call the owner for such things...e-start every time

As in, "ABC's Wide World of Sports: Superbikers", inaugurated in 1979 as a TV-friendly event that aired through '85. But like jazz, blues, rockabilly, and a few other things the US got right, it became a "prophet without honor in its own country."

SM...no it didn't, the launch was 'Superbikers' 1984,when Danny 'Magoo' Chandler introduced himself to the World...the day a legend was born, as supermoto became a thing...KZbin it!

Was pretty much not a thing, until Magoo propelled it onto the World's stage with that move of Steve Wise in 'Superbikers' in 1984...still one of the best races of all time in all 2 wheeled sports

I remember watching as a kid and being so stoked to see Steve Wise racing. He was from my hometown in south Texas. He was a great all-around rider. Motocross. Flat track. Road. He could do it all at a really high level. I guess that is why he was so good at Superbikers.

£9500 for a single is too much. I got a brand new gsxs 1000 ,old shape for 8 grand last year . Skids , wheelies and 155 top speed. No brainer

@@johnDukemaster I believe that was not his point. The GSX-S is more bike for a lower price. More fun shouldn't mean more money really. After all you get 3 cylinders less and almost no dash... it's a big thumper. Great bike really, but you do pay a premium for the red paint.

@@johnnyblue4799 supermotos are simple and fun. People that never owned one can't understand that unfortunately. Supermotos aren't for everyone's taste but I can agree that brand new, KTM gasgas and Husqvarna 700 supermotos are really expensive... But a 450 and a 500 Supermoto can do the same with more torque if you only want fun and go for wheelies and twisties

@@BCBe4tS Agreed. Got one in my garage. Nothing fancy, a Yamaha WR250R with supermoto wheels. But it was cheap, it's great for around town and looks pretty sitting next to my Fireblade! :)

November '22 issue of either Ride or Bike magazine saying the SM couldn't be used as your single bike...rubbish, fuel tanks, cruise control, luggage, etc, everything is available, one bike that would take you round the planet, never mind to the shops!

I was riding my 22 s1000rr 2 weeks ago a car cut me off and i wrecked pretty bad flatlined in the ambulance and the bike is totalled now im torn if i want another s1000rr or supermoto
