Here I am feeling like it’s a good time to get my Brian Fallon fix so I put this on while sitting in my car about to bring a package into the UPS station, and this incredible performance just sends me into a tearful, emotional extravaganza and now I can’t go into the UPS store for at least 10 minutes lol. 😭👐✨❤

I don’t think I’ve ever heard Brian sing this smooth. Usually much more raw, ragged and emotional. I like it! Also, the line “now everybody lately is living up in space, flying through transmissions on invisible airwaves, with everything discovered just waiting to be known, what’s left for god to teach from his throne, and who will forgive us when he’s gone” has stuck with me since i first heard this song on handwritten. A beautiful reflection on the comfort of religion being replaced with the escapism of the internet and social media, and the anxiety that unlimited access to information might lead to.

This song was always a favorite of mine. I haven't followed Gaslight Anthem or Brian Fallon for years now. I am recent fan of the actor Paul Dano. I am always looking at that guy and thinking he looks so familair to me, like an old friend I knew back when. I just realised he looks like Brian Fallon. They look like twins 😁

Brian has some devils he has to deal with He looks terrible. Gained weight, sloppy hair. His voice is stronger than ever but people have to exude confidence in their lives and what i see is a sadness that permeates all that he is. Wake up Brians and appreciate everyday your alive and sing about all the good things to come. We are with you and we are not going anywhere.

Garbage comment. The last thing people need to hear when they're suffering and outside of themselves (if that even is the case) is how obvious that is to the people around them, especially when peppered with negative, awful statements like 'he looks terrible". This man owes you nothing but continues to consistently give us all these amazing heartfelt songs that somehow manage to hit so many of us on a profoundly personal and emotional level.
