Wied il- Bassasa Zurrieq Malta

Today I will explore Wied Bassasa and Wied Il Hallelin in the limits of Zurrieq , very close to Wied Fulija Family Park. We start on top of the cliffs near with il Hallelin side and make our way back inland. Here we explore a very small cave in Wied il Hallelin, meaning the Thief cave. From here we continue on the cliffs until we find our way down wied Bassasa. Where we explore an other cave .

I thank you for your interesting videos which I also find helpful to explore such areas. Today we went down to Wied il-Bassasa from the quarry area and in my opinion it is much easier. So now we've enjoyed views on both sides of the valley. We walked through l-Ixmiex and back to our car uphill from another concrete paved trail.

Hey there, great vlog! :) If i'm not mistaken, even though it's called Wied il-Hallelin, that cave was used by coast guard soldiers. Re- the name Bassasa, they say that there was a hole in the rocks near the sea, and in rough sea, waves used to do funny noises when splashing against it 😅

Great views of the wonderful coastline of Malta.It seemed very risky at times making this trek around a very rocky area but well worth it.You would have been happy coming across the throne for a well deserved rest after all the effort you had put in filming this. Great shots of your hard work.

Actually people from that area refer to wied halliel in the plural , that is 'Wied Hallelin'.
