I remember being at Ghar Lapsi 24 years ago. It was in December and all very quiet. When I see this video you really make me want to go back but then in spring or summer when it is warm and sunny. I am sure one day I will be back there. I like the way the 2 of you are so well organised and really care about the environmlent. Many, many people can learn from you. Regards, Ivan from Belgium. PS In August, when I visited Rabat, I ate one of these rings wiht figs which I bought from a shop next to the church. Loved it !

Thanks Pierre for sharing this interesting vlog. The two night camping adventure was very well organized, thanks to Sharon too. Ghar Lapsi area is a very beautiful quiet place with amazing clear colorful sea views. I like the part where you had some visitors. I remember the song and the good talented group The Followers, bring nice good memories. Well done for all and the good advice to Leave No Trace makes lot of sense. The feature in a local Sunday paper is much appreciated.👍👍

Thank you Sharon and Pierre for an impressive video. Pierre I am amazed you can overcome any claustrophobia in those narrow caves. Sharon's advice regarding the balance of salads sounds very apt, especially when those fabulous pizzas were to come at the end of a long day. Congratulations to you both for such a good video.

Love the camping. Do you need permits. And how many days can you camp at one place. Are there insects you need to know about? One more question, the green awning what brand is it? It looks extremely well made. Thank you. 😊

Hello Suzette, I don’t think you need a permit for here but I always use Leave No Trace, the insects are still a big ??? for me ☺️, the green tarp very happy with it, it’s from Aliexpress , really like it

There were no signs but camping in malta is always a grey area, what I do I do it with Leave No Trace so I save the enviorment and have no problems

Is there a permit to camp in ghar lapsi?

Not sure about that, I just camped there and used no open fires and leave no trace
