This car was featured last year on CARCHAEOLOGY with Randy the main body is a P-38 belly tank and the rear fenders are P-51 wing tanks with a Convair engine and a Harley front end, the car is called the "Patriot" and came out of the late Roger Tronske collection!

Richard ! Cool 308 ! The interior appears to pristine, from our quick look. Rocket car is cool, after some work ought to be an eye catcher. I think a 512BB would be a candidate and maybe a v12 in the front w/ stick.

That front cover was made by Randy’s neighbor. Randy lost the original one Towing at home from his friends house to his garage that he calls his lab. When he got there, the cover was missing but it was on there when he left his friends house.

I never owned a Corvair but there were two close by owned by friends. I drove them frequently and they were a blast to drive. Ralph Nadar's book "Unsafe At Any Speed" was criminal and put the Corvair out of business...

Loving the 308 GTB, but - The tail lights/brake lights and rear indicators/reversing lights are in the wrong positions. With the 308/328 GTB/GTS cars, they all came from the factory with the rear indicator/reverse lights on the outside, and the tail light/brake lights on the inside (next to the licence plate) 🙂

There was once a group of custom built cars called Cycle Cars, so named because they used motorcycle or aviatuin motors. They were typicaly small cylyndrical and triwheeled. This looks like a modern version of one to me.
