You could've pushed very hard on lap 8 so they could've pitted early or destroyed there tyres instead of you sticking with them

Can you give me some advice. Looking for a little upgrade. I have the thrustmaster t300 servo base. With the TM open wheel add on. Love the wheel. PS5 console. Also I’m still on f1 23. Is there no point on getting 24 now?

Carl wins so many of these uncontested because you’re not copying his Strat. You went long here and it got you tangled with slower talent that were aggressive to make positions. I think if you just copy Karl’s Strat, pit when he pits, etc then you atleast have a fighting chance with him at the end, whether that’s for 1st or 5th. And we’ve seen you are full on capable of fighting with him on a lot of tracks. Maybe go different strategies on weaker tracks, but your pace in the first stint showed you can clearly stick with them. But I don’t know. I don’t even sim race. Just enjoy your content :)

You're 100% right. Ultimately was a bit silly from me, just felt too confident in my pace and thought I could negate any undercut and catch up. Was expecting him to run into traffic, but ended up doing so myself. But yes in future if I simply mirror, I'll have a great chance of winning much more.

The pace was solid! But for the sake of 1 lap fresher tyres why not pit on the same lap as Karl was going to? You come out in front of him, he has to pass you on track, you’re not stuck behind all the others. And you still have faster tyres at the end?

Yup that's what I should've done. Just underestimated the undercut and expect him to be stuck in a train. Was just a bit naive on my part 🥲
