One thing I love is the dichotomy between how Obliteration Route Kris acts and how Obliteration Route Frisk acts. In Undertale, Frisk is a complete non-character. They display zero aspects of any kind of characterization beyond simply acting on the player's whims. They are but a vessel for the player to act to. When they do act without the player manually prompting them to, they're still just continuing the player's actions on their own (like their various unprompted actions at the end of the Genocide route - despite the player not directly telling them to do it, they're still just continuing what the player's spent the entire game doing and killing everyone). This is further reflected by the narration in the Genocide route, which eggs the player on and encourages their aggression. Meanwhile, Kris is an established character separate from the player, in no small part due to the fact that Kris actually exists in an environment with people that knew them before the player's involvement who can point out the inconsistencies in Kris's character when they act against it. Kris acts and thinks against the player's wishes, either by directly taking control at the end of both chapters or by indirectly disobeying the player's commands by following the letter, but not the spirit (everything from Kris sounding sarcastic if you choose to say yes to joining Berdly to Kris's wildly different responses when Ralsei asks if they're ok after Spamton NEO), as well as Kris's narration frequently voicing Kris's thoughts, not the player's. In Deltatraveler, both of these can be seen as well, ranging from Frisk snatching the Real Knife from Susie unprompted in Hard Mode Obliteration to Kris's various soul-destruction game overs in standard Obliteration. I think the best demonstration of this, however, is what happens when you examine the room Toriel is in at the end of Section 1. By default, the narration simply says you can hear her crying. In Obliteration Section 1, Kris's narration instead remarks that they "don't want to think about it". Meanwhile, Frisk's narration in Hard Mode Obliteration coldly remarks that she's "not worth talking to". It's a minor detail, but it's consistent with how Frisk and Kris are portrayed as player characters in their source games, and honestly, I love it.

@@ExulInsani They sure are. No denying that, but the issue is that besides that one Flowey scene. The entire game acts as if your will and Frisk will are one of the same. For example, Sans judges Frisk for killing just one monster to see his reaction purely by their expression and then judges them for it. This implies that in the storyline Frisk did that on their own volition. So, since Flowey then calls you Chara in that scene he could be just mistaken again about Chara being Frisk.

You know I think that how this whole Deltatraveler thing happened is that in this alternate timeline, Kris and Susie teleported to Undertale instead of entering the Dark World in Kris’s living room, Kris always falls into the Underground before Frisk does but depending on if it’s hard mode Susie will either fall with Kris or with Frisk, and I think Noelle somehow teleported in there before Kris and Susie, but she just payed there on the floor and Flowey threw her out into Snowdin, and also this whole thing caused Gaster to be like “wtf, their not supposed to be there!” so he put in some Grey Doors to help them get out, but he has no idea where the door leads to so he has to keep trying till they either go home or to where he is.

I still want to see Shayy play the last BnP update. Nobody seems to want to touch it due to all the drama, and honestly, I feel like people should appreciate what a good mod it is and ignore the absolute bs that the director did. After all, the director is only a very small part of a much larger team that worked on it. Unrelated (Woah, is that an anigram for Undertale!?! New Toby Fox game leaked!?! (JK we all know next game is either gonna be Nutdealer or Nudealert)) to Deltatraveler, but why is it that (to me at least) Moldsmal feels green, Waterfall Moldsmal (which is canonically a different color than Ruins Moldsmal because it’s a joke about old RPGs pallete-swapping enemies to save ROM space (Even though Moldsmal’s stats are exactly the same no matter what color they are)) feels red, and Moldessa feels blue? Like, obviously Moldsmal is green. They just _feel_ green. And obviously Waterfall Moldsmal, since it can’t be green, has to be red. They just _feel_ red since they can’t _feel_ green. And I literally have mandella effected myself into thinking that Moldessa was canonically a light blue somehow. Like, it just _feels_ blue. Like, some people have a similar thing with assuming red = DT, where in Undertale red = Ball Game, but for me it’s just “Hey Moldessa is blue, right?”. And yet, somehow, for some reason, on top of all of that, Moldbygg just feels like Moldbygg. I have never once gone “Oh, Moldbygg is also red because it matches the Moldsmals in the area” because I don’t think I have ever thought of Moldbygg this much in my life. Moldbygg is always just either you encounter a Moldbygg along with a Moldsmal and go something like “Hey, y u no jiggle?” or “Why can’t I spare you?” or “Why do your attacks only last half a second?” and then you approach Moldbygg and suddenly it transforms, or you just encounter a Moldbygg alongside literally any other enemy first and the suprise is ruined because Moldbygg only hides if it’s surrounded by other Moldsmal. And then after that first battle Moldbygg just becomes “That Moldsmal that attacks in reverse and takes 2 turns to spare instead of 0” Edit: Moldsmal canonically smells like lime gelatin, so that helps with the already strong green feeling, but *also* that line of flavor text isn’t exlusive to Ruins Moldsmal, so red Moldsmal in Waterfall *also* smells like lime gelatin, which is awful and I hate it because that means they both taste like lime but only one can be green. Edit 2: On one tarot card we got a pink Moldsmal, but those cards aren’t canon and also break continuity with themselves often (Both cards numbered VI depict Dogamy and Dogressa as completely different colors)
