I understand people are miffed by Lefou being gay due to his name literally meaning "the fool", but tbh, they made him alot less of a "fool" in the remake. He grows and becomes a better person who understands how bad Gaston is, which is very nice. His characters is sweet and fun, so getting by his name, I don't see an issue with them making him gay.

The original gaston was 6 1/2 feet tall, and at least 350 lbs. The chris Evans gaston was only 6'1", and under 200 pounds. And then he says, "Now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs so in roughly the size of a barge" despite clearly being of average size. It's really stupid.
