I'm literally sitting here crying, watching this. I am 46 years old, and I've never put a single aspect of my life first. Everyone - literally everyone has always come first. And perhaps that's one of the reasons I am so sick, and why I've been sick for years. I guess maybe it's time. Thanks, Crystal.

@thdcampbell I didn't even realize how passionate I was about self-care until I made the video! LOL It's just so important when it comes to managing GP and it's one thing that we actually have some control over.

I need advise please...i was diagnosed with Slow Transit Digestion over 15 yrs ago. I never received any help/advise but always seemed to manage the symptoms. Just recently my symptoms have escalated. I've had a Endoscopy, showing severe Gerd. Colonoscopy showed Diverticulitis. I continue with these symptoms on a daily. I also have other chronic illnesses that could be associated with GP. What should be my next step. The "NEW" GI can't get me in for 2 months. I am beyond frustrated.

Hi, Beth Ann. In my opinion, the next step would be to have a gastric emptying scan to determine whether you currently have gastroparesis. If your new GI doc can't get you in, you might talk with your primary doctor if you have a good relationship and ask if she/he can order the test for you. Some can/will, others cannot/will not. Either way, I would recommend downloading my free Quick Start Guide to GP Management, it's a 40 page eBook available on my website at www.livingwithgastroparesis.com, that will help you start making some changes to alleviate your symptoms. These changes often help whether it's true GP at play or something like functional dyspepsia. Hope this helps! Sending good wishes.
