Sir,generally people say endoscopy is very hard and scary test,but your explanation gives a confidence that it is simple and tolerable...is it ok for a person having muscle spasm problem to take up this test? Will there be any pain or discomfort while swallowing the tube? What is the normal duration to complete this procedure?

It is a very safe procedure. Counselling and local anesthetic spray will help in making it a pleasant experience. Usually, I finish it in less than 2 minutes. Thank you!
