Shame the AbramsX will probably never see mass production. It would be a very good, if expensive, major upgrade package for the Abrams if it was suddenly discovered that Russian or Chinese tanks were actually on-par with current western models... but Ukraine is decisively proving that cheap garbage and knock-offs produced by corrupt dictatorships just aren't even close. So there's no urgency and it's probably more cost-effective to build the next generation western tank designs from the ground up.

There's a reason that is an "if". Nazi Germany didn't have the resources to even build a half-decent version of that. And it honestly would just be an easy bombing target. It would make the front look like an average war thunder ground match (CAS heaven/hell depending on if you are the aircraft or tank). Also, if Germany even held on for a few more months, we would be talking about Berlin and Frankfurt, not Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Чтобы это сделать придется разработать новый танк, а у нас с новыми танками проблемы, только модернизации, ну и смысл в этом переходе если FPV дрону плевать в крышу абрамса или т-90 он влетает, и тот и тот сгорит.....

@@Bluesonofman Да, простой, но тут тогда придётся ещё и снаряды новые проектировать, Совецкие танки начиная с Т-64 принятый на вооружение в 1967 и заканчивая Т-90АМ ( Совецкий Т-72 только глубоко модарнезированый) имеют автомат раздельного заряжания снаряда, сначала идёт боевая часть, потом порововой заряд Что не позволит быстро заряжать оружие + Совецкие/Российские танки низкие лёгкие( меньше танков НАТО на 10-20 тонн) и в них мало места, придётся как минимум переделать полностью компоновки внутри танка, создать новую пушку, новую башню, полный перечень снарядов к пушке, обучать заряжающих( в Русских танка в отличии от большинства танков НАТО 3 члена экипажа) и все это при том что идут боевые действия и уже есть новый танк Т-14 с необитаемой башней в котором 3 члена экипажа находятся в отдельной от снарядов броне капсуле, и в добавок идут разработки беспилотного танка на базе Т-14(хотя с этим танком много проблем с компонентами которые были во многом заграничного производства, либо недоработаными) Заранее извиняюсь за такой большой и нудный ответ
