Also to describe what the chlorine gas was like for the otherworlders: Imagine burning alive inside and out without any fire to put out. that's why that guy was acting like that. And this wasn't even the worst gas that was used during those wars! There was one gas that was so destructive, the opposing sides agreed to ban the use of it. and as for why Itami reacted that violently to Auschwitz, that place was one of many that sewed fear and despair to all those it was targetted for. That room was designed to kill normal civilians, NOT soldiers, by filling the room with gases designed to KILL. And here's the REAL icing on the cake for it, The reason why they were being killed was not for loyalty to enemy factions to Nazi Germany or the Axis Powers, but ideology. Those people practiced a theology called Judaism, and they subsequentially hunted and ridiculed for it in WW2 by the Nazi party. TO me personally, this was the pinnacle of human cruelty. This was called the Holocaust, a mass genocide of people for their beliefs. Edit: I might not have gotten the exact details down, but still words can't truly describe it horrors.
