Once again, spotless! Love how Rory literally would feel honored to fight by their side, when you know she's basically a Demi-God who can slaughter modern soldiers and dodge BULLETS, it means quite a lot for her to respect you like that, it fits her well! Lelei was absolutely savage about Tuka's father, poor girl... :') The only suggestion I could think of would be to maybe give them more info after the reaction, so they know better, like for example how these warriors were 300 holding that choke point against literally 70 000 to 300 000 men. If they already doubt Spartans are mere humans they'd be quite surprised haha.~ Also, Fields of Verdun next? PUTAIN OUAIS ! I'm French, so that makes me VERY hyped! I can't wait to see how it goes! But as I said before, don't rush yourself, go at your own pace, quality is way better than quantity! And no, reaction was not mid, everyone talked and reacted a lot, they all felt very alive and in-character compared to many other reactions where they'd mostly just change their facial expressions and comment a little bit. You make them comment A LOT and change their expression A LOT. That's an AMAZING job, my friend. See you on the next video and take care!

History behind the song Sparta for those curious and browsing the comments here: Sparta is about the Battle of Thermopylae (a name that translates to Hot Gates) and the stand the Hellenic city states took to stand against Persia (the dynasty’s name escapes me). Unlike 300, the film used in conjunction with the song for this video, 300 Spartan warriors did not stand alone. While the Spartan’s elite forces did indeed stand at around 300 strong, it was also accompanied by around a thousand battle slaves as well as warriors from other Hellenic city states. In this war to maintain the independence of the lands we call modern Greece, the Spartans were one of the major city states leading the war against Persia with the other being Athens. The Battle of Thermopylae ended in a defeat for the Hellenic states in the end but the sacrifices of the warriors in that battle allowed for the other Hellenic city states to prepare their forces for the battle to come next. The traitor who betrayed the Hellenic forces that day was supposedly so despised for selling out their kinsmen that his name became the word for traitor. I can’t confirm that last part at the moment so take it with a handful of salt. As a Sabaton song it is chronologically either the first or second in order of historical timeline depending on when you agree the Art of War was written (since the song of the same name would either be first or second based on those ideas) since the year of the Art of War’s publishing is a contested topic for reasons better left to those who study ancient history.

I always wondered as a kid on how the 300 men manage to survive wave after wave of Persians but as I get older and I read more on history and battle tactics I realized that the Spartans had an advantage cause of their area of combat and since they knew the lay out they had a major advantage against them
@Aki-kh2qe-StreetKidZZZ Жыл бұрын
We (by we I meant our ancestors) also had a lot more hardcore training (borderline inhumane in fact and many details are being left out of the schools from abroad), they also had a bit better armour and there were few others that helped the Spartans. In all honesty they could withstand more if they weren't betrayed but either way they fell. What I'm annoyed though is the misinformation countries from abroad spread about my country's history and mythology and they insist only to fullfil personal agendas etc .

I can see that Pina is being humble, because her Knight Order could actually be compared to Spartans
@thecommentguy938026 күн бұрын
Her order was created more or less to humor her, it was originally seen as a joke among her family and the aristocrats, and was used primarily for ceremonial purposes. Though it was her determination (and perk of being rich) that saw the Rose Knights become an order with proper soldiers, even then they still fall short as none of the knights have actually seen real combat until the battle of Italica and the defense of their own head quarter. You can tell the Rose Knights were hilariously inexperienced seeing how they suffered heavy losses despite having significantly better gear than Zorzal's troops, the only competent ones were the trainers. So compared to Leonidas' royal guards, the Rose Knights are but children
@quangtruongle782326 күн бұрын
@ You forgot to mention that Zorzal’s men besieged them with far greater numbers, couple with siege machines (in the manga). And yet they held for long enough. Gear meant little if the disparity is not big, coupled with the much bigger disparity in numbers. They did their job. The men besieging them must be outright incompetent.
@thecommentguy938026 күн бұрын
@@quangtruongle7823 they didn't bring siege engines to the Jade Palace (at least not the heavy hitting ones). Point is even in our own history, full plated knights were often racking kills in the dozens EACH, because you have to be really rich to afford such gear while everyone is equipped with just chain mails and thick jackets (gambesons). So for them to suffer so much losses against average troops was still very humiliating because their plate armor would have made them walking tanks

I have watched both of your other videos, but have forgotten to comment on them so I figured i would start here. First things first, I understand that these kind of projects with this much quality take time so don't be afraid to take some time and recuperate after every video, I can understand the pressure due to my job but don't hurt yourself to validate us. I also get the need to limit what they would react to as the internet is full of random things so just keep on doing what you are and we will see you at the end of the journey. The reactions of the characters feel both in character for all of them, while also spinning just enough to stand out if looked at by another. The designs of all of them look great as well, easily feeling like they really did just get pulled from the special region at that very moment. Rory is obviously my personal favorite due to her quirky attitude but Lelei is a close second due to her oblivious burns to Tuka. Now onto some requests, and as you said only Sabaton was available, here are my personal picks. 1. Defense of Moscow 2. Midway 3. Primo Victoria 4. The end of the War to End All Wars 5. Bismarck 6. Night Witches 7. Screaming Eagles I know this is a lot but you make quality react videos that I want to see more of, but take your time and chip away. The list is also not in any particular order so chose or disregard whichever you like. Take care, and my the Golden King smile upon you. (Wonder if any one would get that one)

Even if the weapons are far more advanced than the people of the Special Region can normally understand, they can understand the spirit of the soldiers who suffered through those wars. They can understand "They shall not pass!" I guess that applies to Fields of Verdun and Sparta, although I was intended to refer to Fields of Verdun lol. I wonder if the soldiers and leaders of the Special Region would change their stance to the newcomers if some kind of documentary was made or translated so they could understand WW1 and 2. See just how hard and brutal war is with "modern" weapons and just how hard the people of Earth are willing to fight and how much suffering we'll go through to win. They would never be able to talk about glory ever again after seeing the muddy trenches, artillery and chemical warfare of WW1 and the atom bombs or even firebombing of WW2. I can't imagine most cities of the Special Region would survive a firebombing campaign of the sort used against Japanese cities in WW2.

Lets see here... The Spartans were efficient killers because they were simply trained from ages as young as 3/4. With horrid and strict rules, barely any breaks, they were born, trained and cold hard warriors. Even in small numbers, a group of Spartans was not an enemy to laugh at, for they, would laugh back, with their weapons and shields drawn. They barely had any armour because it restricted their movements, I believed, being able to run and dodge was more valuable than simply tanking hits. They relied on their might and weapons, nothing else. They were also pretty smart.

In there was even an issue with this cause in the past we gave few documents and statutes (like Kariatides) and they were never returned to us which is why we stopped giving them to studies to other countries...also why other countries started to twisting our history and mythology and made fan fictions as a "recorded facts"

Mate stop the crack😂. I don't know what they teach you in school but you didn't beat Spartans. To begin with Sparta was unified with the rest of the Greece and lost it's war-like culture long before Turks were formed. You were also man handled on multiple occasions from the later generations of Greeks despite you were more and better equipped while Greeks had political and famine issues and I won't even get onto the fact that you attacked and committed multiple war crimes on non combatants, children (like the event of child snatching whom raised with lies and propaganda after you abducted them and then sent them to k1ll their parents later on knowing that the parents won't fight back against their children) women ( usually nuns who got r@p3d which mind you needed an entire unit to hold one down despite her being both defenceless and swore against violence due to their religion) 1914 - 1918 and so the list goes on.😂 Gotta love the lies and propaganda man, makes you feel special. Right now sure, you're better (a lot better in fact) but in the past you didn't have warriors, you had bullies who attacked on people who had no way to defend themselves and in most times you got destroyed on the process but sure, believe whatever helps you sleep better at night. Lie is always sweeter than truth however I would advise you to do a worldwide research first before embarrassing yourself and if you don't believe me just either Google or go abroad and search in libraries the historical events, or better yet cross examine them. No point in continuing that if you don't which I really believe you won't (best case scenario you lie to cover it up)

Missed opportunity to not have Zorzal here. This would probably be the one time he'd be hyped beyond belief. I like to imagine his reaction being "fuck yeah, that's what I'm talking about! YEAH! GET EM!"

On the other hand, remember that this was the beginning of the channel, (the time flew by so quickly) and blacklight could only have sketches.

Fun fact the spartans weared an armor made of bronze with muscle. Himlita masculada or something like that. So yeah to someone external it may look like they were naked and wore no armor
