sir at duration 12:51 i have one doubt why we not filling electrons on minus -1. -2 orbitals of d ??? u told not to leave gap while filling ...then y we not filling on -1 and -2 orbitals.????

For D2 configuration....why the 2 electrons can go in +1 orbital without filling +2....means why should we jump the d orbitals during filling up the electrons

Sir I think that when you are giving us lesson of d2 term you use formula (2S+1)(2L+1).then you wrote 2s+1=2and the results is 6 .sir how 2s+1 =2for d2.please explain

Sir, u said that there is no gap when we fill the electrons at 12.40 time. But in ur explanation about the term symbol qn in june 2017 qn. To get 1S term symbol u place the electrons by making a gap. Pls clarify this

Sir , why u are using uppercase letters to write the electronic configurations? I think it should be d2 not D2, as D represents the term symbol.

Answer should be 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 Other than these one more term symbol should be there according to the options given a) 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 and 1p1 (b) 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 and 1D2 (C) 3p0, 3p1, 3p2 and 3D3 (d) All of these Plz explain the correct answer i am not getting it

Number of microstates for d3 configuration. I have solved the problem answer is coming out 240, but in the book answer is 7×6^2, it's a 4 mark question in csir net in June 2012, is there any printing mistake or something else.
