Anyone else feel that the overall level of the top players has gone up significantly in just the last year? Feels like you have to basically be 100% C1 and pretty good C2 to have any chance to be near the top of the leaderboard. Didn't feel like you had to putt like that to be competitive even a year ago.

Putting is the easiest throw to replicate time after time. They have ultimate consistency, which is what separates these players. Lots of factors going into drives and approaches, just a few with a putt.

I don't really agree, c1 putting has been must makes to not lose strokes for a long time and I've been surprised when pros missed c1 on camera these days. That said c2 might have been improved slightly, well this is in my opinion btw, I might be wrong

Both Ricky and McBeth are having elbow pain issues so they are trying to avoid throwing FH. I saw mcbeth grab his elbow in pain yesterday on live coverage after throwing a FH.

I mean the crazy torque they generate on that joint to have so much speed on their forehands is not normal. It's like so many of the best mlb pitchers in baseball will have shoulder problems for the rest of their lives.

On many of the throws I couldn't tell where the basket was. It could be helpful to viewers if, before some 1 throws, some kind of marker could be displayed on the screen indicating where the basket is.

It hurts Ricky's arm to throw forehand at the moment or so I heard.
@bryndayy2 жыл бұрын
That is what I heard as well. You can see that he's throwing touch forehands but not power ones. So none off the tee and when he has to go to a scramble forehand it seems like he's discing up from normal or not trying to get all the way there.

Golfing under a canopy in the woods with trees in the fairway is one of the things that makes disc golf unique over all other forms. The multiple media in the multiple producers of discs and paraphernalia are showing that we are in the Golden Age of growth for disc golf... These are the good old days.... The days when I started back in the late seventies and up until KZbin will be myth and mist going forward. Imagine playing this course with nothing more stable than an Eagle, nothing faster than your slowest fairway driver. Then imagine playing with nothing faster or more stable than a Roc... And then imagine having only two discs... An Aviar putter and a slightly faster and more understable disc called an Aero. And then imagine driving with a 220 Gram ultimate disc. LoL and putting with a freestyle disc. LoL #bringbackLaurelSprings

This JomezPro thing is just ridiculous. Imagine being a football fan, or a UFC fan, and being waiting for a huge event, then you can't watch it until the next day because some lame ass company bought the rights. This does not happen in any other decent sport, it's just insane to say it out loud. If you really want Disc Golf to be more relevant, you need to get rid of shit like this. If posting the videos with 18 hour delay is the best JomezPro can do, it is a piece of shit company, and it shows how bad is Disc Golf doing. A company like that in a decent market would not last a week.
