If that was real, the American Armor would of been Destroyed without even seeing any of those German Tanks, with those extremely Large Caliber Long Range Cannons on those Super Tanks the Germans would of Destroyed those Shermans from well over a mile away, don,t think any American Tank would of gotten closer than that

Yeah but at the end of it, American would also have things like that, maybe it would’ve led to the faster development of the M51 Isherman with its 105 and also the mass production of Pershings or other heavy tanks, maybe even the Patton.

they would've all broken down before the battle like the King Tiger/Jagdtiger used to, plus Germany didn't have the time and money to build them before they lost the war............fantasy only.......... if they had entered service, just a larger version of the pretty useless Jagdtiger ................ try a much lighter version of the panther modded with an 88mm instead, less armour but miles more agile.

The Germans would have their limited numbers of Super Tanks in very extreme defensive positions where they could see everything in front for miles but the Americans couldn,t see them and being extremely vulnerable out in the open with little effective cover. Doesn,t take a Rocket Scientist to figure that out or to do the same when commanding forces like that in a WW2 wargame, limited quantity but capable of doing alot of damage to your enemy, utilize its most potent weapon, very large caliber able to out range any allied tank by twice the distance, extremely accurate gun and able to punch threw their thickest armor, no need to slug it out face to face at such close distance, tracks on even Super Tanks are still vulnerable becomes immobilize and possible chance of it being destroyed if say a dozen Shermans got behind it and fired in the rear, at almost point blank,sooner or later a 75mm round will pierce th engine compartment

I don't like how's it filmed - too much of camera zooming moments, sometimes they're just bits from a whole picture. (1:06 for example) And wobbling gives a dizzy feeling

Perhaps pan the camera range further back, say a quarter of a kilometer/about half a mile, that would give a better field of view, plus better vision of the opposing forces? Just a thought really. Btw the nazis won this slug fest even with (stupidly) getting into knife fighting range, why bother? 88mm or even the 100mm+ guns in the german super heavies had a massive advantage over the poor thinly armoured shermans, all they had was a numbers advantage.
