I first seen DEVO back in may of 78 on Don KIrschners Rock concert. They played, Come back Johnny. I was an immediate fan after seeing this music video of theirs. After being fed a continuous mish mosh of long and boring rock ballads that were on the radio then, they were a welcome change of pace. I just came across your video tonight and I must say, you guys show the respect that DEVO worked hard for. I like your style and how you keep the music genuine. You both definitely are spuds!

Greetings Citizen Paul. For these drums we build a virtual drum machine in Ableton. A combination of a CR-78, 909, and actually drum samples ripped from some old records to give it more texture. It sort of sounds crazy at this tempo.
