A question to Amb Deo: Are diplomats bound by certain rules as public figures in their host countries by the Indian government or are they are free to pursue other interests in their personal time such as hobbies, traveling for leisure, socializing with locals, etc?

what kind of family related difficulties do the Diplomats face? As in can they take their spouse with them to the abroad missions they go for or can they take their parents with them? and the stability for their siblings for education? how do the diplomats tackle that part..
